Commission by Mr. and Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Clementine Tangeman in 1971, the 30 foot tall, 7-ton kinetic sculpture located in the Commons in Columbus Indiana. Material for the sculpture was locally obtained, and local craftsman helped build the sculpture. The work represents "Life is movement" and through the use of 12 motors, can be programmed for different sequences. Steel balls run along a track and drop between noon, 1PM, 5PM, and 6PM daily.
