Trained at the Art Student League in New York
Studied under William Merritt Chase, Frank Dumond, J. Carrol Beckwith and Irving Wiles
Nationally recognized watercolorist
Early member of the Richmond Group working with John Bundy to establish the Art Association of Richmond
Taught watercolor in the Auditorium Tower studios in Chicago
Moved to Seattle Washington to participate in the Seattle Art Colony painting Harbor scenes
